: super charger snout porting

so i have the snout off the car and started my first try at porting the snout and getting the inlet ready for a 90 mm throttle body

i still have more work to do but if there is anything else(secret areas) to hit let me know.

thanks for any help- guidance

The top part you ported was a waste of time. That is for the internal bypass. It does nothing for horsepower.

thanks Jess- i figured that.... but when you lift off the throttle the air will flow alittle smoother now.

So......... what else on the lower section to help power?

Maybe someone that has one of ours will show you what we do, I make a lot of changes, including grinding off alot of that bolt material you can see in your first picture, and increasing the size on the smaller side of the unit, it helps alot on feeding the front of the rotor pack. I also change the rear entry on the mounting area on the blower itself, that makes a major change.

For the people that send us the snouts, we only charge $100 for the porting on it and the throttlebody for a few more weeks.

i would think at any time you port would be good.......... the easier/better airflow in = hp

stock = 1 hp.

9.5 pulley or 2.55 upper equivilent is about 6.

at 600 hp level, it is about 11 gain with the tb and snout.

The blower caseing assembly adds 34 or so to the above numbers when done in conjunction with each other.
