I have a 2006 STS with the orginal Michelin Pilot HXMXM4 staggered tires.
P235/50ZR18 on front
P255/45ZR18 on rear

I bought this CPO at 28,000 miles. I currently have 39,000 miles on it

I am assuming these are the originals. The rears are in good shape but the fronts are wearing on the outside of the tire.

Would you replace all four or just the front 2?

I was in a similar situation and did all 4 at once. Went to same size on all 4 corners so I can rotate when the time comes. Lots of info in other threads on your choices. I chose Continental DWS in 255/45/18 and am very happy.

Same here. My car is AWD + MRC and I was willing to give up some handling & performance for a softer quiet ride. I've got 10,000 miles on DWS 235/50R18 all around.

My DPO had his dealer rotate his staggered setup. I ran the OEM's to 50,000. I might have run them longer but began to hear noise from the RR. Before learning that it was a wheel beariing, I got it new skins. I don't think a little front sholder wear is a big deal. If you've never rotated, it may be getting bad.

caddyfat1 now caddyfat2 ( just grew up LOL) but I just replaced my two front staggered tires but left the rears alone seeing they had virtually no wear on them.

Sounds like you need a wheel alignment - mine did, and then get new tires.

Other CF Members have reported the STS does tend to wear the outside shoulders of the fronts; especially AWD with staggered 18". Mine did on the first set but the alignment (4-wheel) is well within spec.

Exactly my experience.
