I recently installed a 2.5" lift kit all the way around on the Escalade and was wondering if anyone knows the largest tire I can put on without rubbing.

the biggest tire you can run is a 33" tall 12.5" wide the wheel needs to have 4.5-5.5" of backspacing.

I've done the same with mine with a 2" front and rear kit. Ride is a little rough. Any ideas how I can make the ride a little smoother?

I agree with Rhyno. 33" x 12.5". We don't have an Escalade w this setup yet but check out the black and grey Avalanche in our gallery, pretty sure offsets for EXT and Avalanche are identical. You can check that too we have these stock offsets loaded. Check it out www.customoffsets.com

I am looking at doing a levelling kit on my 08 ext next week. Is a body lift better then a suspension lift? Does it affect the ride?

I don't know from experience, yet, but done a bunch of research as I decide what to do w my 02 avalanche. Suspension is best because you are replacing parts, so you are getting new. However it's also more expensive. Body lift is a lot of work for ending up with no new parts really and fairly expensive on EXT/Avalanche. Leveling kit is lowest cost but only fits 33" tires vs 35" w 6" lift kit.

Conclusion. If u have the money a 6" suspension is the answer. If u don't or like 33" and a more stuffed look with done trimming in fender wells, leveling kit. And the body lift, just save up for suspension lift...

I am leaning toward leveling kit, run a year then lift it and get bigger tires if not happy.

I believe that's just a leveling kit so I am thinking 33" but haven't seen one yet

Remember when all you guys get your stuff post pics and specs in www.customoffsets.com so we can get these answers easier, that's what the site is all about!

Felixgun, love you truck. Any interest in posting at www.customoffsets.com we are trying to collect the largest gallery of trucks and cars with custom wheels and all the specs. I can post for you if you can share the wheel width and offsets or backspacing.
