Autoweek claims, "(The CTS-V) won’t be able to match a BMW M3 or an Audi S5 corner for corner, but the Caddy features a much more comfortable ride."

And they are full of it.

That's not even close to right....

E92 M3 (the newest) runs an 8:05, you listed the e36 time - which is about 12 yrs old. source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nürburgring_lap_times

It is, however, nice to see the V times faster still. I would love to get the V back out on the ring. I've seen speculation that GM feels they could drop about 5-7 seconds from that time.
