I am looking into getting some custom wheels, still deciding on either 20" or 22" wheels. I wanted to know what's the max width for the front wheels? I used the search function, I read somewhere 9" wide would fit, and maybe a 9.5" Also, what tire sizes should I go with in either the 22" versus 20" Thanks guys!

There is a set of 22" in the classified for sale. Personally I would go with 20" for less unsprung weight and better handling/ride.

Yeah, I was looking at those, more to get a feel how 22" wheels look on our cars. Don't really like the design of those though.

Good Morning Bob,
Did the Ad for the 20"s have a photo attached? if so could you post it so we can
all see them?
Also if there is an email or phone # what would be helpful.
Thanks Bob.
Oh by the way did you get to see the vents I had installed on my car while
you were at D3?
Great day Bob

im having a super hard time finding 20" wheels that are 6x115 (or can be drilled to such,) with +40 or more offset, in 8.5" width or greater. any ideas?

Give my buddy Frank a call. They sell tons of REAL NICE wheels. They are real big on the BMW forums. He has been trying to get me to purchase new wheels for my V. They got tons of good choices.

CCW makes some nice wheels too, but you got to buy directly thru them.

All the wheels that I am aware of for our cars, are custom made and very expensive. The prices I have seen start at about $1000 ea and goes up from there. Our stock wheels are forged speedline wheels that are light in weight.

You could get some CCWs for a little less than that, I also had factored in their powder coating for another $75 a wheel. REAL WIDE though

Nothing crazy . . . wanted to keep the tires "somewhat" affordable . . . 19" x 8.5" front and 20" x 10" rear.
