Hi all... I've got another question for you all. I found a wire in my engine bay the other day that isn't connected to anything. After I traced it.. I found out that it was for the oil light on the dashboard. The thing is I'm not sure where the oil sender unit is on the engine? I found some sort of sender unit at the back of the manifold behind the carb with 3 wires, and I found one at the back of the right hand rocker cover. Is it either of these??
Thanks....

If it has an electric choke, the choke power goes through the oil sender so that the choke won't get power unless there is oil pressure, or in other words, running. This is so the choke won't open if the ignition is left on, like to listen to the radio or something.
