: Proper Spark plug gap?

I did a search, and was coming up with different answers (google and here). Some people said 0.050" gap, others 0.052" gap, others 0.060" gap. I realize it probably doesn't make much difference, but would like to know what a 96 engine is supposed to have?? :banghead:

You know, maybe while we're all here... Is there any advantage to using a .060" vs a .050"? Better, more complete burn at higher RPMs, but with more emissions? I donno... thoughts welcome. :worship:

Check this thread. It may shed some light on the subject.

Thanks! Just what I was looking for! I didn't anticipate the "lag time" it takes to charge the coils with the larger gap... Good read. BTW - stock gap is .050" according to my 94 manual.
