I saw some posts by D3, but nothing confirmed. Does anyone know what is the largest/widest rear tire you can fit under the wheel well? I'm looking at a 20x10 wheel for the rear. Thanks in advance!

I was talking to James over CCW wheels for a half hour a couple weeks ago about some wheels. He had put 19s, 11inch wide in back, running 305's on them (this is going off memory, I am 90% sure they were 11's but theres a slight chance they were 10.5's). In my opinion the 19s were way to small looking because the 3 inch lip made them look even smaller; but 20's all around would look great. We played around with the numbers for a while, trying to keep it as close to the stock diameters as possible. My main problem was only a couple brands made tires that would work and theyd be real pricey. In the end we came to 305/30/20 265/35/20..

With over $4k in wheels and then expensive tires to boot, I am still debating what I would like to do. I do think some quality custom wheels would really make our cars look 10x better.. and no ghetto rimssssss!

I currently have a 285/35/19 in the rear on my stocks and it fits perfect. I just hate that we gotta do custom wheels. but thhat on the other hand makes you pick out the wheels of your choice.

I'm sure we can call up some Magnum/Charger/300C owners and can get some pointers on WHEEELLZZZ ;-)

Hmm... maybe I can fit my factory Escalade 22"s on it :canttalk:

One of the forum members installed BFG 295/35-19 on the rear wheels.

Hello,
The widest wheel you can run (while keeping it inside the factory wheel well) is a 20x10.5 rear with a 295 tire. Anything more, you will have to make modifications to the fender, or it will hang outside the wheel well. We have done a TON of aftermarket wheels on the STS-V application. No need to reinvent the wheel, we have already done all the measurements a few years ago.

How big/wide are the fronts?

I REALLY like the solid black mesh wheel.. How much did that setup run, ballpark?

Hello,
We go 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rear.

20" black mesh with polished lip = $1150/per wheel.
