Have not been able to find a K&N air filter for my 05 V. Any ideas or suggestions would be great! New to the forum and really appreciate all of the great info. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the info Joe, The cold air box looks sharp and 20+ extra rear wheel Hp is impressive! My 71 Corvette with a Big block makes 383 at the rear wheels, our V's are not far off that.....

I just got off the phone with more performance;and the cold air box sounds super.
I have a couple of Qs though. What do you feel bout it?;how does the car pull & did you notice any side affect's?. And do you think it realy was a 15 to 20 RWHP gain?.Im very intrested but would like some feed-back from someone who's got it in there car

I did notice a difference in pull and sound. There does not seem to be even the slightest hesitation when you "go for it"
I would think RWHP is in the range 10-20 (with no hard data to confirm)

I am courious about fuel milage and if anyone notices a difference...So far so good.

I noticed about 2-3mpg difference after the CAI and x-pipe.

I haven't noticed a big MPG difference, but I don't push the V hard. It is a little louder and you do notice it pull slightly more(my.02). I do like the fact that it stays cooler than the engine side. Be careful not to dent the filter itself when installing it :annoyed: . I just turn it and you don't notice it. I just had the program upgrade(flash), I don't know if that helps the air intake? I also love my CAGS eliminator. Good Luck..
