: Anyone have this problem?

I've had my SRX since October '09. Recently on a road trip, the chrome strip just in front of the side view mirror blew off. I'm assuming it blew off because I can't think of any other reason. This happened on both the driver and passenger side.

Anyone here experienced this?

My dealer replaced the entire assembly on the driver and passenger sides. You should insist your dealer do the same.

I`m like Sube, I have ten pages on that particular thread. Those people that have that problem have my support and sympathy but I never thought a chrome strip would become such a problem on a Caddy. Good luck to all!

Relax GMJim, this little problem is just a small annoyance. Having said that, I don't think it speaks well for quality control when pieces of trim are falling off a car. That goes for any car not just a Caddy.
