The cheapest quote that I'm getting from my nearest dealers is dealer invoice minus $2500 rebates ($1,500 for non-GM owners plus $1,000 from GMAC financing)...plus I'd get the 0% financing. For a new '04 Black Escalade AWD with the Select Edition Package and rear DVD Entertainment, it comes to about $53.4K (MSRP is $61K). This is of course without tax, title, and license. Is that a good deal?
Current incentives expire on 9/7/04. I've heard through the grapevine that incentives will be better after then since dealers are having a hard time getting rid of SUVs much less '04s. Should I wait until after then? Anyone know by chance what those new incentives will be?
Thanks in advance,
Soon-to-be-Escalade-owner,

from what i've read, that's a decent deal, but not a great deal. i'm sure you could find better, but at the same time, it's a crap shoot. if you wait too long, you might not be able to find anything. i say, if it's what you want and it's a price you don't mind, go for it.
There are some members that reported prices in the 48,5 to 49k range, but the rebates were better about a month ago

I went shopping for a close out 2004 Escalade AWD and ended up buying a new 2005 for about $2,000 more than I was willing to pay for the 2004. They absolutely did not want to order me a new 2005 with the specific options I wanted and I got more options on the one they sold me right off the truck. I especially like the touch screen nav in the 2005.

I just got $9k off on a new 2004 ($3000k rebate included) Truck came in under $50k. Not too bad. Other dealers were only offering $4500 off. I'm happy and i love me new truck.
They're giving $12,500 off new 04's here in NW Arkansas, but that includes a 500 or 1000 dollar military discount. They don't run that promotion long but when they do thats the time to buy them up. That includes rebates, coupons, dealer incentives, etc.
