"No its not ... I'm just bedding brake pads."

After prepping for a trek to Harris Hill Raceway next weekend, I took the V out to bed in the brakes.

I cleaned the rotor surfaces really good, but the veins ... not so good.

After several "laps" between divided hiway cross-overs, I began smelling the new brake pads (I love that smell) and a LOT of smoke was billowing out from under the front fenders.:D

A guy stopped next to me on my way back home and said ...

"Hey, your car is on fire!"

Lulz, it is a bit awkward doing them. I try to get a secluded back road but always end up with somebody behind you and they must be thinking WTF!!! :)

yeah i do them in a residential area at a time when few people are driving and it always makes me very self-conscious.

I had never heard of Harris Hill Road. Looks like a safe, fun little track...
