: Trying to sell my wire wheels soon... what would be a fair price? (pics)

The time has come for me to sell the wire wheels I acquired with my '89 Brougham. I prefer the wire wheel covers, and these have just been sitting in the shed for over a year. I got them all cleaned up & took pictures, probably going to list them on ebay but I wanted to get an idea for pricing here first.

I know a perfect set with correct center caps can go for around 2k. But these aren't 100% perfect, nor do they have correct center caps. Since they were put on at the dealer, they have the standard Appliance center caps, which originally had gold & red Cadillac crest chips covering the logo. Only one center cap is still intact (these are plastic) one came off when I had the wheels put on, and the other two are cracked but still mountable.

The wheels themselves have very nice chrome, but there seems to be some kind of coating on the hub & recesses of the rim that oxidized & started flaking off. What is this, does anybody know?

Kinda sad to think of how Night Wolf crossed over to the dark side.

They're worth upwards of $1000, but no one will buy them at that price. If you want them gone now, then I'd price them between $500 and $700.

500-700 sounds good. I paid 500-something for mine and they weren't perfect or anything and they had the centercaps, and I was incredibly happy with that price, having got what I consider a good deal, so I don't see why somebody couldn't put down as much, or even a bit more for these when they are actually very nice. They have surface rust, but hey, it's on the surfaces you DON'T see.

Going from memory, the numbers are 15x6J, and the letters are the Appliance wheels logo.
