I've been using Autotader, and eBay to look up used CTS-V's where else should I be looking online (or in print) to find what cars are available in my area?

Cars.com.

Also look at local Cadillac dealers' inventories. Most of their cars will show up on cars.com or autotrader, but not all. You'll pay more for a certified pre-owned V from a dealer, but there are some good arguments as to why it's worth it. Go to cadillac.com to get a list of dealers in your area.

Autotrader, craigslist, and Ebay are your best bets online. I've found the last 3 cars I've purchased via autotrader (including the V). I had to expand my search to pretty much the entire country to get a good number to look at.

Autotrader is by far my favorite of the car sales sites and I think it has the most volume too.

There's always used Vs popping up on the classifieds here and on the LS1tech forums as well if you want to buy from a private seller...

I found mine on craigslist. The person selling didn't even bother to list it on Autotrader.

There are a few on craigslist in the Detroit area almost regularly.

Good ones get snapped up quickly.

There is an 04 with 27K for 20.5K.I don't see that one, but there is an '04 with 29k miles asking $24.5k.

The other day, I responded to his ad and told him to come here and advertise. Don't know if he did.

Mine is for sale in the classifieds and I will pay for half of shipping (maybe all of it). Price is negotiable.

How does that work anyway? It seems to work like the factory warranty, i.e. it's fully in effect for the next owner. What if the car ends up at an independent used car dealer? Can they use the CPO warranty? Can the buyer of the car from that dealer use it?

Yes Cadillac CPO warranties stick with the car and are fully transferable to any new owner without charge. Really they just transfer automatically; you don't have to do any paperwork since the warranty is tied to the VIN, not the owner.
