nice looking ride

I like the wheels, except the screws. I never have liked the ornamental screws on wheels. Other than that, I like the look.

welcome to the forums!!!

Welcome, the V looks nice.

Not sure if you ever plan on using OnStar. But if you don't, you can pull that antenna off of the back window. It really looks a lot better with out it.

Looks great! All you need is are some lowering springs and its perfect!

Love the wheels. Also would like to see those tires from the rear. Do they stick out much?

I don't think the screws are "ornamental".

I think they hold the rim together. :yup:

I don't care for the look either as they are impossible to keep clean.

:welcome: looks great.. i like the wheels ..i have chrome motorsports on my vette and they are sweet.........I don't have any problem with cleaning since it is not my daily driver..The biggest problem is keeping the inside barrels clean...:bigroll: tell me, is your V the stock heighth:confused: Cause if not the rims and tires would look a lot better tucked under the fenderwell...but it looks to me they would rub.... u might want to get the MAP arms and a lowering kit...You MIGHT be able to lower it without any rubbing probs.:alchi:

Looks like a beauty. Check around a few threads, but you will want to get a few more mods in there, so you can really let loose.

Gforce axles
LS7, Monster, or Twindisk clutch (get rid of the duel mass turd)
Creative Steel or UUC Motor Mounts, Trans Mounts, Diff bushings.
UUC Short Throw or PISNUOFF's Shifter (great reviews on both).

Get those into your car (Trust me I did), and you will see what a CTS-V is really all about.

As for the rims, I think they look good. Very urban if you will.

I wholeheartedly disagree! For one, the look to me is fine. Two, it shows that you drive the original V, the '04. It's the only way to be...

Thanks guys..the wheels are a true 3 piece wheel so allen head bolts are functional. I'm from Baytown but I do a lot of business in pasadena.

I would love to lower it but I'm afraid they'll rub with those 295's in the rear.

Also it has the updated rear diff seals and a C5R shifter.

it's possible, but most of the ones I have seen are on 1 piece wheels; those are strictly ornamental

I'm pretty sure that HRE wheels are 3 piece (bolted together)

in any case, heavy is right, must take as long to clean the wheels as the rest of the car

FTR The wheels are not hard to clean and the bolts are holding the wheel together, and are stainless steel. AND DAMN I must say she looks good, good job Lorenzo!
