I'm looking at an 07' quicksilver with black interior, 26k miles, I think factory 22's they are not the typical 7 spoke but they have 8 spokes with smaller cadillac emblem in middle with almost new tires. Power running boards, nav, and DVD player. I asked the salesman and he said the main warranty is over in september 2011.

It's supposedly in great condition, I have a bro inlaw going to look at it today to confirm condition. They are asking $39K for it. Do you guys think it's a good deal? I want to deal on the price but not sure how much. I kinda threw it out there about negotiating and he said maybe a few hundred dollars. I'm thinking $37k or $38k plus TTL?

Its a so-so deal. I would rather look at a 2008 with maybe more mileage since 2008 was the second production year. More of the quirks were worked out in the 08s.

I paid 34900 for my 2007 with 18k, and that was in march 09, it was not MINT but i would say 8.5/10, but it had nav, aftermarket 26s, no dings, but couple scuffs on front clip, and 1 scrape in driver seat about 1/2" long. IMO over a year later you could find something what your describing for 35k.

make sure your inlaw drives it at high speeds. the 07's had a lot of problems
with wind noise. see the stickey at top of the page for all the posts on 07
wind noise. i agree with the others that its a soso deal.
good luck

I would go 36-37 max and start at 35k, point out any little issue you can find and then offer 35k and see what happens, all they can say is no. I must be pretty good at car shoping because everyone takes me with them, salesmen are not real happy. ;)

That car sold yesterday. I'm looking at a 2008 with 26k, loaded 2WD, power running boards, black on black, some minor scratches on side of car but possible could be buffed out. Interior is good no scratches or major spills on carpet. The dealer is asking $43900. They've had it for 113 days now, so i know they want to get rid of it. Do you guys think $41k drive out is good? That makes it roughly offering them $38,500. The fac. warranty ends 11/30/2011

Where do you live? If it is an area that gets snow you will want AWD. I believe 2wd are also harder to resell when it is time. In my opinion I think it is a little high for a 2wd drive truck, especially with minor sctatches. To have them removed right will take someome with good skills, black is very hard to get looking good and to maintain.

I'm in Texas so, we hardly see any snow here. Yeah, the scratches are very minor about 1-1.5" long, a little here and there not many. They're not deep but i still noticed them even with the car dirty. I guess it's normal for the salesman to say, "oh we won't loose a customer over a few hundred bucks" shoot, i'm thinking a few thousand. I guess i should just be firm and stand my ground when I make an offer. Doesn't help that other lade's with similar to higher mileage are being listed at similar pricing.

Yeah, stand your ground and don't be afraid to walk out. GM made pleaty of Escalades and sooner or later you will find the right one at the right price for you. Good luck!

A 2 wheel drive is less money by I believe 2k, and as said they are harder to sell because they have limited use in the warm weather states. :)
