Ive got an 1988 Allante and this thing is giving me fits. It keeps throwing the EO12 code. It hasnt been running because the injectors would not fire. I found out if I started it by manually adding fuel and cleared the code while it was running, the car would continue to run unntil I kill it. I took a snapshot and this is what I got.

THESE ARE FROM SEVERAL DIFFERENT SNAPSHOTS--THE LAST WAS IN GEAR

TPS-4.5 3.3 6.0
c/c FBK 18
RINT fuel 134 149 138
LINT fuel 162 173 178
RCROSS CTS 12 6 0
LCROSS CTS 2 14 14
ROXY sensor .13 .17 .07
Loxy sensor .05 .53 .44
RINJ PW 5.9 8.0
LINJ PW 6.2 8.5
PS sensor 3.9 4.7 4.3
deg spark 5 10 8
MAT 67 76
TPS 4.5 3.7
PROM ID 545
IGN CYCLES 2

If anybody sees a problem and a possible fix, let me know.
Thanks
William

This was posted in the wrong section. I'm moving it to the Allante section where it will be in front of the people that can answer your question...

Why not address the E012 code? E012 is no distributor signal. Check the pickup coil in the base of the distributor and the HEI module as well as the wiring to the distributor. I'd start with the pickup coil. That is the coil around the star wheel that is mounted on the distributor shaft. It connects to the HEI module with two wires at the end of the HEI module. Disconnect the two wires and check the coil for continuity - wiggle the wires as sometimes they break due to the insulation hardening/stiffening and heat the coil with a hair dryer as you check for continuity to see if the loss of distributor signal is due to heat.

The integrator is showing fairly lean. Injector PW is pretty high too, I would guess that this is a cold engine at this point, hence the amount of fuel, and relatively low TPS, and still being lean.

Idle injector PW is around 3ish. Warm engine, summer day.

Does it mean anything? no, not really....
