Why can't she be my Neighbour?

That's pretty cool! She hardly looks 70, much less 104. That Coupe DeVille is sharp too, that white/red really pops! And it looks as though it's a D'Elegance.

If I must live to be that old, that's the way I want to be!
(Not a d'Elegance, though. It's a standard CDV.)

Looks like Mrs. Gladys Flamer has escaped the curse of old age. I'm convinced that living that old is just as much a mind game as it is being in good health and taking care of your body.
I have two great aunts that are 91 & 93, both of them are voracious readers, are more informed in current events and politics than I am, and are extremely good observers of character.
Hell my aunt Marsha is so full of piss and vinegar that she assaulted the man who broke into her house while she was at home. She lives in a rough neighborhood and has a big German Sheperd for that reason. When the guy busted down the door, the dog bit him and wouldn't let go of his leg. Dude was on the ground wrestling with the dog and she took her cane(it has a big metal ball on one end) and whacked the guy straight in the face. Gave him a really nice shiner. That was 4-5 years ago, her neighbors had been robbed since then, but I guess the word on the street is you don't **** with the little old lady with the big mean dog.

She can also parallel park better than anybody under 30. Cool lady.

She got her license 89 years ago. That was 1921, so that means she got her license shortly after WWI ended, Woodrow Wilson & Warren Harding was in office, and prohibition was in full force.

Wow quite impressive. She looks great for her age. The car does as well but it needs a little TLC.

There it goes to show you, its not the age but the condition...

My grandmother drove the Seville till she was 94. Same way, too, with the tilt/tele up and in(made me nuts). Didn't look her age either until the first stroke got her.
