I am draining the block. Did not want to but after flushing the heater core looks like some tap water got into the system, so have to drain everything.

How can I access the knock sensors? Where are they? I cannot see them in the FSM.

This states that it's near the starter. I was thinking of getting my pcm tuned and pcmforless.com states that to get the most out of your tune you need and lt4 knock sensor and a 160 degree thermostat. Are these parts expensive or hard to replace?

This is suppose to be a picture of it:

I have found a knock sensor on the driver side, but decided to leave it alone. Thre should be one more on the passenger side. A 22 mm socket will take care of it (probably 7/8 but definitely not 13/16). That is a picture of a knock sensor with connector removed. To remove the connector you need to squeeze it and pull it off.
