Hey, Madlac, Nineinch, AirJigga....

Since you all started talking about Terminator, I decided to just open a new thread.

First of all. Terminator 3 was bad. On A,B,C,D,F grading system, I'd give it a C-. Just enough to earn a passing grade.
It was not a horrible movie, or tasteless, or stupid. But it was disappointing. Sometimes I think it would actually be better if the y didn't make it at all.

Fot those wondering where Eddie Furling went, he was asked to participate in a next Terminator installment, but he was in rehab or some other crap. Bad. So they had to find somebody.

Again I am a purist. Either they should have gotten Edward Furlong or didn't make a movie at all. John Connor from 2029 in T2 and T3 are different, too and that's crap.

Second of all. The entire concept of sending crap back in time should have bee scrapped and thrown in a trash can. ENOUGH!! You cannot chew on a same concept forever. The storyline should have been set during the actual war with machines.

Thirdly, T3, has little, if any, ties to T2 or T1. That is just poor directing. Eddie Furlong should have been brought back, that guy that played Kyle Reese should have had a little cameo. And yes.. Robert Partick should have been introduced in there, too. Like, maybe one of the soldiers, who was later killed and used as a prototype look fot T-1000 (I don't know, I am just playing with ideas) You just have to do it with a skill and feeling for the story.

Just my two red pennies :)

I didn't hear a whole lot about this movie so I figured it wasn't really that great.. I think the war with the machines would be nice to see.. And they should have had the characters right... I think it was just Do or Die for T3 - and the Did...

I liked it... I'm easily amused though.

The movie sucked. BIG disappointment. It was like the director had no clue what he was doing and made a checklist from key points he wanted to copy from T2.
The characters sucked, Arnold's role was a friggin' rerun from the last one, and worst of all the storyline stunk.

I persoanlly liked it, that Tundra went forever adn it was sweet they used a '87-'89 Brougham style Herse for awhile, adn that kept going.....I didn't care for the end though....

I liked it a lot. Some of the scenes weren't that great, but hey what can you say. I liked it though. I believe it was also setting up for the next movie, the war with the machines. They kept setting it up with the flash forwards and how in the trailer it had john conner standing on a huge rock with the humans cheering for him holding an american flag, and that scene wasn't even in T3. And the part right before arnold blows him and that chick up with his cell he says "See you soon." Therefore, there has to be another coming up.

I thought it was cool when you find out that Arnold is the one who kills John Connor in the future. But James Cameron saw the movie and said how he liked the movie ended and would do a T4 if they asked him too. Well atleast then you know the move would be good if he did it

Man.... DISS - APP - OINT - MENT!
T3 was poorly executed. It was pretty hard to take that little girly dude who played John Connor Seriously. I agree, they should have waited until the original John Connor got out of rehab. There was definitely a cool chase scene with the tundra and the caddy hearse, however, the plot was poor...the movie just threw scene after scene of action at you until you became numbed to it. Plus it was so loud and full of special effects that I had a headache after 5 minutes. Come on, this is the age of plotless action movies and in order for it to be good you have to have a better plot.

I heard pirates of the carribean was good though...

this topic got a little weird....

I'll try to get it back on track.

I liked the movie, didnt love, but liked. Its weird to say but if you disregard the first 2, then this was a good flick. However the plot holes and time screwups make it mostly a failure. Time travel is a hard thing to keep straight, and three movies made over a course of nearly 20 years by different people is a recipe for some real "space-time" continuity issues.
