I dont have time to change my leaking heater coil (or the money) so I am planning on diconnecting the pump that runs water thru the coil, but I think that there is also a heater element that needs to be disconnected. Am I correct, and does anyone know an easy way to do that, a fuse maybe?
Thanks in advance.

The heat in a car works by hot coolant, nothing electric (except for the valve control)
I kinda have a heater problem as well. When i turn on my heat one side blows hot, the other blows cold and the back also blows cold. How do i fix this both sides are tuned to the same degrees.

check your coolant level first, if low, add correct amount and then check for leaks....water control valve, or oil cooler if you are less fortunate.
