My 80cdv had the cloth pillow top seats, after I sold the car my wife said she really liked the seats in that car, I would like to get another car with pillow top seats but would prefer something a little newer, (no 4.1's though), were these seats available in the 87-92 brougham or fwb?.

I think any Brougham d'Elegance would have "pillow" seats. The d'Elegance interior has more cushioning than the standard interior, and I think the seat backs are considered to be pillowed. The option was offered in cloth and leather, but most people chose the leather (it was only $600 more on a $2000 option), and was available until '92. RWD's made from '86 to '90 will have the Oldsmobile 307 and '90 to '92 may have the optional Chevy 350.

Those are from my '90 d'Elegance. I do believe that they came in cloth as well. If you are looking for a Brougham, go for a 90 with the Tow Package (these got the Chevy 350) or get a 91 or 92 (they came with the Chevy 305 standard and the 350 for the Tow Package). Either of the Chevy-powered Cads had more than enough power to haul themselves around.

Geez Matt, Who did you loan your car to that pigged up the interior like that and didn't have the courtesy to vacuum it before returning it to you? :)

That's how it was when I got it. I was focused on getting it running and nothing else. Now it's staying that way because it's being parted out. Damned hole in the piston. :grrr:

Matt, I remember your car - the maple red one, right? Too bad about the cylinder. Put a 500 in it. Maybe a 425 - everyone seems to want those 500's. :) How many Cads do you have?

Why not check out the auto wreckers for some good used ones?.

Bro-Ham - I have already started selling off parts. If I had the money, a Chevy 454 bolts right into it. But I want to get my Coupe DeVille running with it's new engine and make the Florida Meet. So I need the cash from the car. So I currently have 2 Caddys, but not for long.
