I think the closest thing would be if you could get the doors to lock when the door closes. Im not sure otherwise. Daryl in KY 08-27-04, 09:04 AM cadylady, All the components are there to be able to do it. If the doors can be unlocked remotely by On-Star, it is a matter of programming the electronics. How much of a feat this is, I don't know. I believe that this question would be a good one to ask Cadillac. They have the resouces to look at retro-programming. I would also think that it would be wonderful to have options that the owner could control, like the options on arming the alarm system. laroco5 02-27-08, 12:42 PM Cadylady, You can program all doors to lock once the car is in gear. If you have the manual to the car, refer to page 2-88. Or just go to your car, locate the buttons to the right of the dash and scroll through the various information until you get to "FEATURE PROGRAMMING'. I'm sure you will find what you are looking for there. Hope this helps or at least points you to the right direction. silversport 02-27-08, 07:03 PM Cadylady may have given up since asking this question in 2004...there is no 2-88 for the 2000 Cadillac Escalade...wish we COULD program this on our trucks but nope...
