: Feeling every little bump on the road

Folks...just got an 07 blk/blk with 22's on it. I run the tires at 40psi per the owners manual.
I have never owned an SUV or truck in my life and this is my first SUV. While driving this around town...I feel every bump on the road and its like the suspension does not mask any thing. Is it possible that my shocks are shot?
Or is it that....this is just how these things ride and I need to get used to it....

Welcome to the Forum :) Don't know where you saw 40 lbs but the drivers door jam should have a sticker saying 35 lbs for 22", at 40 lbs you will be feeling every bump for sure. :)

I was going to say. I have mine at 34 PSI.

Yep, drop down to 35 psi and things should be better. Keep in mind it is still a truck on 22's, it will be firm. The 2009-10's are noticeably better with the mag suspension.

Hi and welcome! Definitely 35psi...also what tires on you running on? Bridgestones are stock and last for more miles but a much smoother ride is something softer like Goodyear Eagle GT or Falken etc. They only last about 30k but if you are not in a snowy area and want a smooth ride it is the way to go. Good luck!
