Took the Escalade to the track to test at 5 lbs. It was pretty hot today and the best time I managed was 14.25 @ 93.96 mph. The mph was slightly lower than the first time at the track, but it was pretty hot out. Considering it has 24" Wheels and probably 1000 lbs of stereo/audio equipment I didn't think it was too bad.

very nice, but just a question, why do all the performance work and go to the track if you have so much stereo equipment and 24s??

If you put some mickey thompson or put smaller wheels all around, remove the sterio and the back seats. You will be in the 13's all day long.

But 13's isn't the point. You've got to have the tunes AND as much speed as possible. The stereo and wheels are just the requisite cosmetics...

I wanted to put the stock wheels on, but they wouldn't fit with the larger brakes. It would definitely go 13's with a little more boost. I think it could do better how it sits, it was just hot and humid yesterday.

It's more of a show truck than a "race car" it just needed a little extra power. It's pretty mean from a 30 roll ;)

Have you had a chance to dyno it?

Does Detroit Speedworks or Livernois Motorsports have a plan to put the kit into production?

It has never been on the dyno, we don't have access to an AWD Dyno.

The kit is in production and can be seen at http://www.livernoismotorsports.com or http://www.detroitspeedworks.com.

I know of another install on 2WD 4.8L Sierra and it rips! Much faster (and lighter) than the Escalade.

Nice setup. Did you run that time w/ the in-dash tv going? If so, that's the true meaning of racing in comfort and style :gungrin: .

All kidding asside, your pushing alot of weight. If you can, turn up the boost and see if you can get in the 13's. My Whipple'd Escalade has ran a 13.89 with 20's. But then again, that's according to my G-tech and it's not official.

LOL.. I'd like to get it on a scale and weigh it. The factory curb weight is listed over 5000 lbs and I'd think there is another 1000 worth of wheels and stereo equipment.

Did you launch with boost? I can manage 1.6 60 foot times with my awd turbocharged typhoon and syclone. There's nothing like it.

I launched at about 3 lbs, but my 60' was horrible.

I also have an escalade in the detroit area. Im on 22's with a little more ngine work, stereo,brakes,sway bars, c-5 intake , 8 lb pro-charger, nx intercooler kit, bbk 80mm throttle body, edelbrock headers, ported polished heads, built 4l60e trans, ed wright tune, I would like to run you at the track when your ready. Just want to see what that turbo will run against my ati procharger. Maybe after my truck gets out of the body shop we can run out @ lapeer or milan. Thanks John
