They're dirty and it's a crappy cell phone pic, but it gets the idea across. Thoughts? :alchi:

Is that real? If it is, that is frickin' insane. I have beat on my brakes pretty hard at a full track day last year in 95 heat, but they didn't look anything like that.

Nice and even. When mine turned gold, they were darker in some spots and looked like crap. Your's look kind of cool.

Not sure, just found in on the Web. I do not know tolerance levels on our's or V2s, but would like to think that 'red' rotors only appear at NASCAR or Indy events.

The red caliper was supposed to be the track pack setup with two piece rotors. I wonder if that's the car that ran "The Ring"?

Nope. The one that ran the ring did not have the 2 piece rotors. That actual car was for sale on Barret Jackson last year.

And it was silver in color.

I've gotten my Subaru's rotors to glow red when bedding in some new track pads. And I've seen plenty of pictures of various cars at HPDEs or SCCA/NASA road race events with glowing rotors.

I never saw red rotors at that event...

Red calipers
Stop it at 13 sec. The rear (and front) calipers are painted red.
The rear rotors are not glowing red.

Me thinks if the calipers were glowing red from heat that the seals would be cooked and the fluid would be boiling up in smoke.

Now that is just silly...

I did. Parked behind a trailer near where the tent was set up where Pilgrim was talking to us. 2 V's parked over there... 1 with red calipers, 1 with silver.

Now that is just silly...
I'm getting too old to be silly. :p

Was talking about the calipers, not rotors. They were painted read calipers.

Yes, stupid auto-correct typing. I'm not sure why it put read instead of red.
