Hey Guys, I noticed my pinion seal was leaking when i was under the car changing the oil. I have a call into the dealership about having it fixed as they replaced it June of '09 with an updated version. My question is if they do not honor their work, i will be replacing it myself. Whay parts do i need to do this? Anyone have part numbers? What about diff fluid? TIA...

If they won't honor it, pay them to do it. The pinion takes like 240 ft lbs of tq to get tightened correctly. This is the one job even I wouldn't do.

If you are feeling brave though, have them order the parts and pick em up. Use redline or amsoil for your diff fluid. Gm stuff sucks and you need lsd modifier also.
