Guys, and Gals, I need some input quick. 07 TGrey/Blk Int. 15K mileage,Very clean VIS and Car fax. GMPP till Sept. 2013, Diff. seal done, Couple of electrical issues repaired, Clutch Bled Mar.09
Car is immaculate. I won't drive until pickup but have someone who knows the cars looking at MMs and listening for bad noises.
Paying $31500. ?????????????? I know this is a little high but with GMPP it should hold value longer than without.
Sooner the better, Thanks all.

Haven't really priced many '07s myself, but $31.5k just seems slightly high. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see these cars have their prices firm up.

With those low miles, the warranty, and the condition, maybe you could justify the buck$. Really does sound like a nice car.

I don't know the values of the 07s, but when I got my 05 it was 3 years old and I paid a few grand less than $30k. My car had 16k miles and the warranty was good for another year. Your GMPP covers you for longer which is nice, but it depends on your plans. I knew I wanted to be modding so to have a year to work the kinks out (I had 2 diffs replaced and a driveshaft during that year) I was ready to mod once my warranty was up. Some dealers are more mod friendly than others, so it is case by case.

I'd say at 15k miles the mounts are going to be fine unless the previous owner beat on it for those few miles.

Problem is that soon as you drive that car you are going to love it and you'll be able to justify any price. I'd just try to get some money off. I try to never pay asking price, not that I feel that every car is over priced, it's just the principle of the thing.

Poast some pics once you get it. We love V porn.

Thats probably about right for dealership pricing, because its in good order with the GMPP 2013/100k. That being said, you might be able to get out of there at $30k even. Private party 07's seem to be fetching 27-29k right now, but its worth it to get a certified used car, with the GMPP.

That's about 2k less then I paid for mine last year. And mine was an 07 w/ GMPP certified used, 17k on the clock.

Short answer, 1-2k higher then average, dealer certified with extended warranty, your not being ripped off.

Thanks for the responses so far. I have gotten them down 1500 from asking and feel pretty good about the deal. CadiBlk, You're correct and that is why I have someone else driving it first. I keep my vehicles way too long, put a ton of miles on em, and usually start modding before Warranty is over. I will be careful though. Most of what I have read states that the 07s hold up pretty well,ie: Diffs, etc. Haven't seen too many that have had batteries replaced like All of the 06s I researched. Maybe just not old enough yet. Good Ole Delco Batteries!!
Thanks again.

Good luck, posters are right, aim for $30K.
The Thunder Gray with black interior is without a doubt the best color combination ever offered, not only for the V, but for any GM model.
Make sure you post some pics.

Sounds fair and that's a whole lot of warranty left. If your tester tells you that if they were buying with their money they would proceed, then sounds like you should. Good luck! You'll love the car.

Dammit. I was hoping one of you would talk me out of buying this car. My buddy drove it and said it was smooth as glass on start, shut down and idling. Clutch felt great,He is a Corvette guy(I don't hold that against him) and from what I've read these are pretty comparable.
One small chip on front fascia but Body is perfect and no other scratches or the dreaded curb commando rash on the wheels.
As a CPO, The dealer put new tires on ,(Hankooks??) and at least new front Pads & Rotors. I will get a copy of the RO for the latest work when I pick up the Car Monday. Then it's off to Phoenix on the way Home to Nor Cal.
Thanks again for all the help.

If the tires they put on are the Hankook Evo v12's then that was very nice of them, those will be my next tires.
