Hey Guys,

I've just recently purchased a 2nd generation Red CTS which i LOOOVE! I am completely new to washing/detailing cars since i've always had someone do it for me or go to the local wash.

Now that i have such a beautiful car i want to take pride in doign this myself, plus i think it will be fun to learn how to do it so i don't have to rely on paying someone else money for something i can do.

I purchased the Ultimate kit plus the Z-AIO whic was recommended by the product rep i spoke to.

I should receive my goods by Thursday and plan on working on it Friday. My car is used but a new car with only 12k miles on it and i don't feel any rough areas or build up on the paint when rubbing my hands over it so i'm not sure if i will need to clay it or not.

Any tips or advice anyone has for a rookie please feel free to share! I spoke to a few reps from Zaino and they basically said f you can follow the directions you will have no problem at all, very easy to apply. I guess we will see!!

Thanks again for everyone's help, this is a great site with a lot of great guys.

Welcome I am new onboard here as well. I also purchased the Ultimate Kit and have not used it just yet. I plan on renting a garage space so that I have protection from the pollen bloom here in Florida when applying the Zaino. Looking forward to pics when you get your Zaino applied.

Thanks for the comment bro. I'm from Florida as well, Central florida area.

You should be fine doing yoru work outside, I haven't seen much pollen in the last couple weeks but there was a 2-3 day span where it was really bad around here. The weather has been perfect the last couple weekss in my area.

I have yet to start since I am waiting on my DF Contour towels to come in, but i have everyting else in place an dam extremely excited.

I did not get the Z-AIO but I will hit a few spots where the paint is a lil contaminated. Looking forward to sum pics when get er ZAINO'd :rant2:
