I think it would be appropriate to see most, if not all of the dyno information in one thread if possible. This could be a helpful database of information for V2 owners. My goal is to load up here and request a sticky for easy accessibility. So who's king of the hill?
Please list the following information:
Mods:
Parts Supplier:
Builder:
Transmission:
Dyno Manufacturer: (Dynojet, Mustang, etc.)
STD or SAE corrected:
Dyno owner/operator:
Ambient air temperature Air/fuel ratio info:
Your final thoughts or words on the build, pull, or driveability:

Here is a link to the STOCK numbers database as of today 4/25/2010 as collected graciously by forum member GaryWells for comparison.

Here's my car:
Wait4Me: CAI, 9" lower pulley, 160 t-stat, and PCM. Mac mufflers. Stick shift car, Dynojet, SAE corrected, 40 degrees ambient air temp. I am completely satisfied with my combination, driveability and dyno results.

First pull: 573 RWHP.
-73oUhV3YO0

Second pull, 578 RWHP.

Oops, my bad. I actually have quite a few charts going on, and a few comparison sheets, but I am refreshing these as I go along, so you might see different charts, but more comparisons. These are in a continual state of improvement & additions, if you want to call them that.
1) Cad bone stock RWHP & RWTQ (auto & manual) (all dyno types)
2) Cad bone stock RWHP & RWTQ (auto) (dynopack only)
3) Cad bone stock RWHP & RWTQ (auto) (dynojet only)
4) Cad bone stock RWHP & RWTQ (manual) (all dyno types)
5) Cad bone stock RWHP & RWTQ (manual) (dynojet only)
6) Cad bone stock RWHP & RWTQ averages
7) Cad Bone stock 1/4 elapsed times

These may not make much sense to anyone other than me right now, but down the road I think that they will to everybody. HTH

Nutz didn't like them. And Behe sent them to me as a little progress report. So until I get the car back and everything is finished, I took the graphs down. It's not fair to Behe...

Haven't had a chance to finish this yet, and I have to re-figure the averages, but this is up to 20 samples now. If you name it on here, please see if you have 3 x's in the correction factor area, and if so, please let me know what your correction factor was. I've shuffled some of the columns around to where it is readable now.

Here's a before/after for my 2009 V 6spd w/ 17k miles (dynapack):

before: all stock. 493hp/511tq
after: W4M 9" pulley, W4M CAI, tune by my local shop. 537hp/565tq

http://boom.net/~mike/2009_ctsv_dyno_14psi_cai_tune.gif

I asked the tuner to be conservative since I drive my cars like I stole them. He mentioned the factory tune seemed really aggressive (when he did the baseline run). Dyno'd w/ and tuned for shitty 91 octane CA gas.

Car is a BEAST. It lit up the rear tires through the first 3 gears last night, with 3 other adults in the car. :D

Here's a dyno after the AR headers (w/ high flow cats, stock mufflers) and re-tune were completed. Same dyno and same tuner/operator as the previous run. No other changes since the last post to the car.

566hp/598lbft.

nearly 600lb-ft @ 3500rpm == awesome for a daily driver/commuter car. :D

Don:
Thanks for the info, but I haven't started a modified chart yet, and it might be sometime down the road before I do.
I would be interested in the same info if you have it when the car was bone stock with no mods whatsoever. Did you do a before and after?
BTW, darn nice #'s for whatever mods you are running on it. I am sure that peeps would like to know what mods you have on there if you have not posted that info already?

Gary, I did a before and after dyno. Stock RWHP was 459.98 with max torque at 454.17, and with mods RWHP at 608.56 and max torque at 589.99. My mods are as follows: upper supercharger LPE pulley, Lingerfelter (LPE) air intake system, with K & N filter, Ported supercharger snout, Street tuned by ADM Performance, LPE GT-11 cam, Patriot Gold Springs, Upgraded heat exchanger, 60 lb. injectors, Innovate West Crankshaft Pulley, Metco 8.6 crank pulley, different spark plugs, 160 thermostat, NO HEADERS AND NO HEAD WORK, and finally I use magnaflow stainless steel mufflers with pre-silincers. I have recently installed D3 springs to lower it about 1 & 1/2 inches. Just an incredible and enjoyable automobile to drive. Thank you for asking about my V. DonS

The Dynojet Research sheet shows CF: SAE Smoothing 5. I do not know what that means. The date of this run was 1/7/10. DonS
