Damn, i got a price from a local shop to do each wheel from 8 1/2 to 10 1/2 for 150.00 ea... if i brought 2 donor rims.. now he tells me, since they are powdercoated, it will take more time and since his machine isn't set up for this size rim it will take more time, and since his machine is NOT setup for a 6 lug rim, it will take longer.. NOW he saids of course he is not sure what the final cost is going to be.. I should tell him Hey i brought a rim with the tire on it,, u gave me a price . now u should stick to it .. if u calculated wrong why should i pay extra..:want: U should pay extra and u take the loss NOT ME! Now he wants me to pull a hub off so he can use it on his machine to properly weld and balance my 2 wheels....I think it's time i guess to just go someplace else.......Hell, i already spent megabucks for more wheels.. what would u do???.And does anybody know of a place that will do a 6 lug, alum. powdercoated wheel. and do they supply the material..:alchi:this is causing me to drink,,well drink more...lol:bigroll:

I would hold it to him too. He shouldn't be quoting prices if he's not compentent to do so

Like he's gonna do a job when he knows he's gonna lose money? I don't think you want the kind of service that would result from this situation. Find another shop.

He actually will size them in increments less than 1/2 inch. His website says in 1/2 inch increments.

I got mine done at Weldcraft, and they looked/worked great. Went with a 9.75in wide rim.

Will a 10.5" rim tuck under the rear 1/4 on a V1, assuming you would run a 315/30/18. By the way, if you go 10.5" a 315/30/18 there are no cheap options, all are $300+. On a 10.0" you can go 295, so consider it should there be tuck/fitment issues.
