: What's my 2004 V worth?

So here we go. I bought a 2004 V from Classic Cadillac back in January 2009. I have a z71 tahoe that I paid off, and I decided to buy a daily driver that was a bit more fun. Well, I've recently bought a large wakeboard boat (2010 Nautique 230), and my Tahoe just won't cut it pulling that monster around. I've decided that, instead of taking on debt, I'm going to see if I can sell my tahoe and my V and buy a huge diesel truck. I know, I know, it's stupid, but it's what I've got in my mind to do.

I've listed my V on atlanta craigslist and on here for $25k. I want to know whether this is a fair price. Here's the story on my V. Some old man owned it and put 33k miles on it and traded it in on a new V. It was bone stock when I bought it. The dealer had just put on new rotors and pads, as well as new tires.

When I bought the car, I purchased a GMPP Majorguard warranty (5 years 50k miles). There's still 3.5 years and 35k miles left on it.

Since purchasing the car, I had the following mods installed either by the caddy dealer in Cleveland, TN or by InTune Motorsports in Charleston, TN:

Magnacharger kit w/60lb injectors
Cold Air Intake
Kooks long tube 1 7/8 headers
High flow cats
reasonator delete
RPM Level IV transmission
C6 Zo6 clutch and flywheel
Remote clutch bleeder
Updated new rearend
Nitto Nt-05 tires (245's up front 285's out back)
Tinted the markers and fogs
20% tint on the windows

The car was dynoed on a conservative mustang dyno at InTune at 452 whp and 432 wtq. The stock whp on the Intune dyno was 291.

The car's in perfect shape. No scratches, scuffs, etc.

What should I realistically expect to get out of this thing? I appreciate your input.

nice package!

i know it's a stretch but if your drop dead sell price is below 22ish i wouldn't rule out taking it back to stock and shooting for 18 or so..and sell the mag and kooks a la carte.. even with the warranty, the new owner may not have good luck getting service at (their) local dealer..

Def. part out you will never make the mod money back out of any vehicle. Plus around here we are always looking for used stuff like piranhas! And congrats on the boat, I am torn between a maggie or a wake board boat. Obviously not in the price range you are but...Congrats!

Sounds to me like it's worth all of $25k.

Problem is in getting it.

I wouldn't trust "some old man," though. :suspense:

I totally agree. If I was in the market I would jump on this car for the price.

Are you serious about your Tahoe not being able to pull that boat? I used to pull my 23ft boat with an 89 silverado with 230k miles on the motor.

The wet weight of my boat on the trailer is over 5k lbs. It kills my tahoe.

That still shouldnt matter, my s10 blazer with a 4.3 v6 pulled my boat also. There might be something wrong with your tahoe.

Total weight was 5300lbs.

Well my tahoe also has a 3 inch lift and 33-12.50 tires on it.

:( I dont even think I could get 13-15K (maybe even less) for my stock 04 V.

<---- Going to hide in corner and cry now.
