OK, so now I've installed the Magna Charger and Brembo brakes. The 02 EXT makes plenty of power and gobs of torque. Now I'd like to have control of up shift points and down shift points. Can any one here point me in a direction that might lead me to my goal?
BTW the Magna Charger system is slicker than warm snot on a brass doorknob. No vehicle that weighs almost 6,000 pounds should be as fast as my EXT, :D

I suppose you could have the TCU re-flashed (if possible), but you could also use the shifter to downshift, and to upshift just let off the accelerator and it will shift.......

With the Preditor you can control shift points for nice firm shifts, this should have been done for you in the supercharger program. IMO

Hey JC,

did you do the magna install yourself or have it done? Mind if I ask what the approx. $$$ was for that set up? I'm looking at a brake upgrade as well. Did you go with the brembo kit or rotors & pads? And....did they make much difference?

I had everything done at a shop. It cost a bit over 16K for everything. The brake parts cost more than the supercharger. I went with 15" rotors & 8 piston calipers on the front and stock diameter rotors & 4 piston calipers on the rear. Yes they do make a big difference, I wasn't impressed with the stock brakes. The Brembos make me feel much more comfortable hauling that beast down from crusing speed. A note of caution though, with the 8 piston calipers my 22" Lexanis touched the caliper so I switched to HRE 647Rs (22x9.5). They are gorgeous, but added 8K to the total cost. If I'd gone with the 4 piston setup most wheels would have fit. 24K total, it goes like hell, stops really good and looks even better. If I'd ever get my camera back from the shop I'd try to post a pic. Oh yeah that total included a billet verticle bar grille with an offset wreath & crest.
