Finally got around to replacing the DRLs with LEDs this morning. Also replaced the top light on the headlights with an LED cluster. I'll post pictures of that in a seperate post after it gets dark. I'm very happy with the results. The first picture was taken in heavy daylight and the second picture was taken with the front of the truck in the garage. Here are the pics:

Here is the link to the DRL replacement LEDs. I'll post the link to the top LEDs in that thread when I take pics of them.

can you take pics from 12-20 feet away? I would like to see if the LED has "that" effect compared to the stock oem DRL. thanks!

This picture is not really doing justice to the lights. It is much more apparent in person. Towel hanging to cover license plate.

nice texas lade

the 5202 bulbs definitely look better than the factory DRL's

I am still debating what to change my HID's too..5K or 6K.

As promised here is the pic of the NEW and improved top LED lights. Now the Escalade is completely LED (minus HID) except for the fog lights which I will not change out as it would defeat the purpose of having fogs. can you tell me how to take out and change the DRL and put in the LED DRL. How hard is it to do?
Thanks

I guess how hard it is depends on how good you are with tools and taking stuff apart and putting it back together. It was not hard at all. Must remove the air box on the left side and the right side is really easy. For me it took about 45 minutes to an hour. I would think anyone fairly decent under a hood would take about the same amount of time.

these look pretty good, but quick question, how bright are they? I dont want to blind oncoming traffic, and its hard to tell from the pic

You would have ZERO chance of blinding anyone. The LEDs do not project like headlights.

I have the oracle LED 5202's do they fit right in. Do I have to do any mods or do I just unplug the factory DRL and the LED plugs right in?

Just remove the green rubber protection. It serves nearly zero use. Other than that, plug and go.

isn't the green rubber a waterproof/moisture protection?

When you do it/ if you do it you'll realize it serves as EXTRA protection. It will be more than ok.
