: What is my '08 Escalade worth?

Just wanted to ask before I trade it in for a car for my wife. It's an '08 ESV with 13,000 miles, captain seats, 22", etc. and every factory option available. Also is Certified to 6yr/100k. Zero defects, and never even a door ding.
I'm getting numbers all over the place from dealer and online, so what is the real story?

All depend on where you are. If you are in SoCal, you could get as much as $45-48K for car with model year & condition like yours.

I've seen a dealer took in an Escalade ESV for $46K, and sold it ONE day later for $50K, sweet huh

There is a 08 EXT usually cheaper than ESV on a lot by me with $48,000 on it , depends on where you live somewhat . Chicago Metro area.

I'm in Texas. The economy here isn't too bad. Dealer said $41 in trade :helpless:. Not inclined to go that route + it's a CPO.
If I supply the VIN, could I get a better idea of Manheim pricing, or does it matter?
This is one of the best vehicles I've owned, and have kept it for road trips, which there is nothing better. Pains me to lose it. :crying2:

No, Manheim prices are what a dealer is willing to pay for one at auction. It's an average, it should be right about what you'd get for it as a trade or me buying on craigslist. The price is an average for all sold and that can include ones without Nav, power running boards, etc so I'd really expect yours to be a bit higher.

I just picked up a 09 for $47k AWD, white diamond, nav, entertainment pkg,

The GM pull ahead program is flooding the market with 08's and 09's.

For an 08 I would say $40k to $43 would be realistic.

Simplemind, are you interested in selling it privately? Can you PM me with any details -color, AWD, etc. I can't PM you because I haven't been listed on the forum long enough.

hmmm, the black gets better resale value vs any other color? miles vs miles the only difference is color.

Black and White diamond are two most popular colors therefore they have a higher demand for them.
