The rear bumper and fillers had to be replaced and repainted after my accident. Now they are fixed, and I even got the trunk lid ornament thrown on for free. The back end looks better now that it did when I bought the car!

Man, hueterm, you have no idea how good it feels to beback in "the world of gentlemen". After a week in Dad's `06 Hyundai Elantra, the driver's seat in my Deville felt personalized, like a custom-built leather throne. :-).

Glad to see her back together. These are still one on my favourite body styles, so hopefully yours and mine can stay on the road for a long time into the future!

Thanks, man! She looks longer and sleeker with the tail fins painted. I haven't had them fully painted since I got the car to begin with.

How've you been?

Thanks for the kind words, guys!

V-Eight, this is actually the body style that got me into Cadillac to begin with. I'm considering doing a full-body paint job and fixing any flaws in the interior, then keeping it garaged and under a cover when I stop using it as a daily driver. I still plan to have it as a weekender car for a long time after that, though.

Haven't driven her much lately, but I'll be driving her to North Dakota in May to give to my niece. Will have my mechanic give her a tune-up and overall going over before then.

When you do that final road trip, PLEASE give us a thread with lots of pictures and video! Hard to believe one of the best-known Devilles on the forums is leaving...

My niece loves Cruella, and she's mostly been sitting in my driveway for the last year, so I'm happy to give her a new home where she'll be appreciated.

BTW, while I like your car, the best part of it is in the lower left hand corner of the rear window.
