I can confirm that the SRX really does have a 20 gallon gas tank.
Did a 19.345 gallon fill up last week,
and a 19.719 gallon fill up this evening.
I am wondering how low I can go, I am thinking that I might stop with 3/10s left and rest on my laurels.
Discretion is the better part of valor.
I was wondering about that. What kind of warning, if any, did you get? I've seen a FUEL LOW message on the screen when I started my car but doesn't seem that convincing or urgent. Is there another message that will show up when you keep driving. I ignored it, eventually got gas and didn't pay enough attention to quantity. :hmm:

Well, I lived life to the edge and ran out about 30 yards from a Chevron station.
Fuel Low came on about 38 miles previously. Trip was about 10 miles city driving and the remaining 28 was on the freeway. So I am now neurotic about believing the fuel level low light, if not much of the other information on the computer screen.
Added note on instrumentation: The radar warning trailer is out in my neighborhood; this is where they show you your speed in large numerals before a crackdown. It's a great way to check your speedo calibration and I was happy(and surprised) to see that it was right on.
A point to remember for the post in another string where the dealer thought it OK to swap front and rear tires. Changing the profile size sure would affect the speedo accuracy.

Good point, Mack1A. Thanks as always.
I've been away on business, so I am going in today for the fourth attempt. It will be interesting to compare the speedo after they fix it (note the positive attitude.)
Perfect timing: Received a letter from Cadillac last night asking about my service. I'll have fun with that. The frustrating part is that the dealer does many things well, but the overall feeling is that they just don't know these cars yet!!
Has anyone else come home with that ,"gee, mister, what kinda car is that?" feeling after their service?

The radar warning trailer is out in my neighborhood...
... have one nearby for the last week, keep trying to get it to triple digits, no luck yet, too many slow drivers... :lildevil:
