I have AC problems as well with a 97 Seville STS. No error codes. Cehcked out freon. Looks OK. Got a hint from here that it might be an inside temp sensor. Hint might be good too. AC started working when it was cooler outside and I want defrost and heat. Then just recently my AC started working again.

Anyone know here the AC and Heat inside temp sensor is located? Can I replace this myself?

Sorry bout that LEE, I know you asked where that Inside temp sensor is. Thing is, I am not sure, and I thought someone else would chime in. I think it is at the top center of the dash where the wood meets the dash board, that littlle area about a half of an inch that looks like a tiny vent. Maybe LOGANDIAGNOSTIC or someone can help us out here.

What does the temp reading say on the rite side when it shuts off?

Ron, so you get no air blowing at all? That click may have been the blower motor module actually popping which means its FRIED, or just the conection burnt. Very common with these types of blower motors. I had to replace on my 97 SLS as many of us have had to. Bad design or something like that. You will need to reaplce the whole unit as it is a complete unit. It is about a 4-500 dollar job as the part is expensive, anywhere from $275- $400 depending on where you get it.

Also. you will have no indication of this problem i.e. fuses or DIC codes. Just no blowing air. Heat or otherwise.
