OK GUYS I'M BACK AND SURE HOPE I CAN GET SOME FEED BACK. MY LAST 2 post had plenty of reads but no replys. ok here goes Ihave an 03 Deville and was not getting a reading from the R/R tire so after checking out the forum i came across the magnet reset . [ TIP I used 3 magnets from a computer harddrive - there small and very very strong ] OK i got the horn chirp from the L/F then the R/F then no responce from the R/R [the tire with no reading] and no horn chirp from the L/R . I tried to do the reset a second time but now i didn't get a horn chirp from any wheel , also NOW when i go through the dash display i'm not getting a reading from any tire.IS it possible the reset didn't work because the R/R wheel sensor is bad.SHOULD i replace the R/R sensor and try the reset again starting with the R/R wheel or do i have the system so messed up that now it has to go to the dealer I HOPE NOT maybe i should just try to shut the tire monitoring system off COME ON GUYS HELP ME OUT PLEASE THANKS RON
You didn't mess anything up. You have about 5 minutes to get a chirp, then the relearn shuts off and goes back to normal.

That would lead me to believe the RR sensor is bad.
try the reset again starting with the R/R wheel
No. You MUST start with the LF and work your way around in the sequence you did. You got no response from the LR because the RR was not completed.
I'm having a problem resetting mine as well, though I get a reading from all 4, just in the wrong locations.
Have an O9 CTS V...tried the instructions in the sticky...
I cycle through the Information sequence but nothing about Press to Relearn????
I set the E Brake, I had the ignition to run without running...
But no relearn option in the DIC???
What am I doing wrong?

Did you press lock/unlock simultaneouly on remote? That is how it's done on my 03' Deville with key on, but not running.
When I changed from the winter Sotto's back to the new wheels and oem tires I had the dealership that provided the new wheels set the sensors. They tried to do it in the service reception area with the electronic setting tool. They had to take the CTS V to a location where there were not any other cars with tire pressure sensors...in their words, to avoid the conflicting data from other sensors...ahem, ahem.
Just saying that this could be another piece of data to be considered...or maybe it was just the irresistible and uncontrolled desire to drive a V2???
