Has anyone discovered a way to limit the wind noise on these broughams coming from the front doors? I read at Consumer Guide.com about that being an issue from the beginning but Cadillac produced that car for over a decade...surely there's a way to quiet it down.
The weather stripping looks very good upon inspection..soft pliable (?) and all there. I gotta think the air is coming behind the window frames since this isn't a frameless design...its not an issue of the window sealing to the felt. I thought possibly a fix might be to attach a clear plastic/plexiglass like strip...similar to the ones sold aftermarket for trucks ( the wind deflectors for while the windows are open...for rain, bugs, air) and attaching it on the door post or the 'A' pillar chrome to deflect the air around the offending gap between the door frame and 'A' pillar...if thats the area. Anyone know anything about this issue?
thanks,
