| View Full Version : Do You Rain-X? the Sandman 01-24-03, 12:58 PM :) kcnewell 01-24-03, 01:39 PM I love the stuff! I've used it for years it's one of the few products out there that does EXACTLY what the manufacturer claims! jeff___H 01-24-03, 03:30 PM I use it.. Tech guys at the race track HATE the stuff - shoe polish won't stick when they try to write numbers on the windshield!:D Katshot 01-24-03, 03:37 PM I used to use it but I found that it seemed to make my wipers chatter. DiamondETC 01-24-03, 08:30 PM Rain-X is good stuff. Anyone ever try the Rain-X Anti Fog? kcnewell 01-25-03, 01:55 AM Yeah, It works pretty well too. I use a product called FogOff in my full face helmet that I wear when I Drag race my motorcycle! I never had any problem with wipers chattering. That's a new one on me! Dead Sled 01-25-03, 12:39 PM I Rain-X, works good for me Elvis 01-26-03, 07:54 PM love it. just don't remember to do it as often as I should. DOH you need to do it more than once? :D i try really hard to do it when ever I wash the Dead Sled, but it dont always happen that way MYCADDY 01-27-03, 08:54 PM It works good for me. I also have not noticed any chatter. Dr. Jones 01-29-03, 02:31 AM Rain-X works, but i find it to be a little greasy for my tests. A nice coat of Z-2 (if your a zaino user) or klasse SG works really great on the windows. Same effect as Rain-X but lasts longer and gives the windows a nice shine. Another trick, if you have a clay bar handy use that on your windows. Not quite as big of a difference as using it on your paint, but still really good results. elwesso 02-01-03, 04:08 PM I use it. I use the aerosol stuff, makes applying much easier, just spray on. I also like to use it on the back windows, especially on my tahoe. It really keeps the crap off. | |
