I've searched and read that most go with the Hawk pads to reduce the dust. Which pads are lowest dust? The ceramics or the Blue F pads?
Are there any forum vendors who carry these or do you guys go out and buy them locally?
Are these pads really low dust or will I still be having to wash my wheels every time I go to the grocery store? :mad2:

Luke with Lindsay Cadillac is a forum vendor and can get you the pads. When I ordered mine they were a bit over 200.00 for front and rear pads, if you need both sets.

Thanks for the info.
How do you like the pads? Are they dust free?

I ordered front and rear Hawk pads from Luke and have been VERY happy with them! They are virtually dust free, don't squeal and they grab at least as good or (in my opinon) better than the stock pads. Luke is a great guy and is very responsive. I had my pads in hand the day after I ordered them.
I have chromed factory wheels so the brake dust was especially bothersome on my car. Now, I get more far more dirt from the road than I ever do brake dust. I highly recommend them.

I ordered the Hawk pads from Luke today. Looking forward to stopping that stupid dust. :annoyed:
There's a very noticeable difference in the dusting between the OEM pads and the Hawks.

I just finished installing the Hawk pads. That has to be the easiest brake job I've ever done. Literally 5 minutes per wheel on the pad swap. I spent more time cleaning the wheels and calipers than I did on swapping the pads.
Overall, it was a good swap. I still see some dusting but it doesn't look anywhere near as bad as it did before. Now it's a lighter dust, not that nasty black stuff anymore.
Maybe I can make it from wash to wash without having to clean the wheels now. :crying2:
what is the model of Hawk pads you have been getting, the HPS?

I got the Hawk HPS pads from Luke at Lindsay Cadillac.
