My 99 deville's brakes (73k miles) shudder when slowing or stopping. Have not consulted dealer. At about 50k miles was told they were ok.

What is the life of the brake pads?

Time for new front rotors.

Need to mount my third fronts and 2nd rears when I get the chance.

I seem to get about 45K out of the fronts.

I hope they beef up the brakes for the 05's!

Thanks. What do you think the dealer will charge to do this. Probably also need pads, as car has 73000 miles. I bought with 32,000 miles and have had no brake work done.

Call the dealer and call Midas. If you're going to keep the car for a while you may want front rotors and pads and new rear pads.
