Hi,

I think I'm in the process of changing the black plastic-like (with peeling paint) dash with a wooden one.

Is there an original wooden dash for the center console (w/o navi)? I already have wooden panels everywhere else. Only the center console is left black.

Otherwise any suggestions where I can get it? (internet orders).

Vogue shows wooden dash kits. Not sure about where to purchase. When I had called about another item they suggested I call my Cadillac dealer.

Just curious as to what Cadillac says about the peeling paint. I suppose they tell you to turn the lights down and tint the windows so you can't see it?

If you would look to your left---you'll find no less than 3 companies that sell dash kits. (Not sure how it works, but occasionally you will need to "turn the page")

While I cannot recommend any of them, I have seen good feedback on the Sherwood products.

I took the car to the dealer 2 days ago for a number of things including the peeling dash. They haven't called yet so I'm still waiting. IF they agree to do something about it I will have to wait until they order new dash piece of course. But since I don't want it to peel again I think I will order the wooden one myself.

Haha, Didn't see them really :) Thanks. I'll check with Sherwood and see if I can get the pieces I need only. I found in some places but they sell the whole kit for every part!
