I just got a 98 Catera with 24,000 miles from a family member. It's a nice car, but the horn does not work. I replaced the blown fuse, and it worked about five times until the fuse blew again. Any suggestions on where to start fixing this problem? Thanks!

probably a short somewhere...
DO NOT PUT HEAVIER FUSE! You will burn something out, perhaps the car sat a long time and connectors corroded so its shorting somewhere causing your horn fuse to burn out...
Do some electrical testing on the wires and see if there is a short somewhere.

I removed the horns, and cleaned the electrical connections as well as the connections between the horn, bracket, & frame. All were clean, and had no impact on the problem. Any other suggestions?

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look next? This problem is keeping me from letting my son drive this car. I would appreciate any suggestions you may have.

have 1970 deville with horn problem. Horn stuck on but when fuse is taken out the horn stops. How to I trace the wiring/relays to see if that is the problem? No diagram or manual to reference. HELP
