I was going to post my picture but couldn't find it, but those pix above are correct except for the diff braket (where it is bolted to the wheelhop bar) should have the bushings (red in color if the kit is the latest KARS replica kit) on the top and bottom of the diff bracket and bar bracket. In other words the last picture is wrong because you can see the bushings. They need to be on the outside, not sandwiched between the two brackets (plates) because under acceleration the two pieces want to rotate apart, so the bushings on the outside deaden the sound better.
Two things:
1) There is supposed to be a gap (approx. 1") between the two brackets.
2) The wheelhop kit transmits so much noise to the frame of the car via the wheelhop bar that I am not sure if it matters about the bushings that I was describing above, because if your diff is currently whining, then the noise after the installation of the kit will be obnoxiously loud.
3) The kit works when installed completely (in warmer temps with warm-ish tires) but I would recommend only attaching the diff bracket to the wheelhop bar bracket when you know you are going to be hotrodding, and take out the two (2) bolts when you are just going to be driving normal and not launching hard because the noise that is transmitted into the cabin is so annoying.
What do you need to know? I'm sure someone here can just help you.
