I've heard this is a nice combo, I got some Corsa touring muffs put on at PSRMARKS shop in PHX, they did a great job for any Phoenicians out there. Now thinking of adding the headers, but thinking this will void the warranty? does anyone have any sound or video clips?
I am happy with the muffs sound and they seem to add some pep, my only complaint is the supercharger annoying whine at full throttle, any way to quiet or override this a bit?
Thanks, E

The blower is going to produce that whining noise regardless, its the resonance from the blower design. There really isn't an excellent way to quiet it down , especially while trying to gain performance.

As for adding headers to the car, they will only void the direct items realted to the header system. If you have a minute read this , and it will explain how you are protected under the Magnuson-Moss act http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson%E2%80%93Moss_Warranty_Act

If you add the long tubes, with catted connecting pipes you shouldnt gain an overwhelming amount of exhaust noise, but you will get a few more deciables, and deeper tone. Unfortunalty I do not have a clip of your exact combo, we have installed the kooks headers multiple times, and we sell them often, and I have had great feedback thus far.

Here is a close example of a Kooks complete system, which may give you a benchmark, because kooks indeed<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/r0qibkQVk0E&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/r0qibkQVk0E&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Good luck, and if your looking for a competitive price on these long tubes and in-stock service I would gladly help you out.

My next door neighbor is a lawyer and he says, despite the law, the companies can refuse the warranty and make it such an argument that you could end up having to sue them to get satisfaction. He has an E 55 AMG and has been through it on his own with a warranty item relating to the fact he put a Renn Tech CAI on his car and they were arguing with him about the warranty. Even being a lawyer it was going to cost him more than it was worth. So keep that in mind. Hi Eric.

There could be warranty implications if you need a tune to eliminate any CELs and you need to take your car in for any powertrain-related work.
