Some of the stiching around the front windshield area is coming loose. I was going to try to stich it up myself but found out there is no way to do it. Also, on the rear passenger doors ragtop piece, the stiching is also coming loose but there is a way to stich it so I will. Any one know of any good way to close up the opening from the loose stiching ? Also, if I decide I want to remove my ragtop, is the roof painted or would I have to paint the entire car ? How much would a new ragtop cost ? thanks

The roof will be pretty much destroyed.............................a new ragtop will cost anywhere from $1200-2500.......................I would check out a automotive upolster first.

The simultated convertable tob isn't held on with velcro :suspect: it's held with silicone & screws drilled through the roof skin. It would cost you $$$ to fill in about 20 screw holes & have it repainted.. I notice your from miami, I recover tops here a Ed Morse Cadillac in west palm for $1000-1200 depending on the material :bouncy:
