Michelin XW-4s were OEM and now they dont make a whitewall
the choices seem to be:
accept the blackwall to stay with Michelin
accept a 75 aspect ratio(limousine OEM) to stay with Michelin OR
Vogue(VII), Cooper(STEclassic), Yokohama(Avid), Kelly-Springfield(Gold),
Dunlop(d65te)
in order of importance i want exellant overall quality, rain traction, quiet, ride comfort.. any advice please ?

Dunlop D65 T Touring Elite
Kumho Touring A/S 795
Yokohama Avid Touring
Yokohama Aegis LS4

Go through Tire Rack, all the prices are close, and the performance is all pretty close. Go look.

Nope, sorry. Truthfully, I'd prolly take the Kumho's, cuz at $44, it's a good price, and Kumho tends to do pretty well on all their tires. But, I'm looking to put 17" wheels on, and run a 255/55/17 Kumho ECSTA 711. That tire's $82 a tire, so not too shabby.

The 255/55/17 shows up as fitting where a 235/70/15 does. Took me a minute to get used to that site you sent. HRS.
