a few weeks ago I decided to run my 98 Deville for the hell of it. Ain't nothin to brag about, but the fastest I could get it going was 16.08@89MPH, not too bad i think, since she's got a big ass... plus some of the looks I got from the other racers were pretty fun :D

i would think the n* would be a little quicker than that. i had my 4.9 liter 91' seville running 15.38 @91 mph last fall. but now, who knows, i think she is showing her age a little.

sts/eldo have higher rated tires so speed limiter is different on them than devilles, plus stock devilles come with n* have 275hp, think the eldo/sts should be 300 hp.

ANY N* DeVille (even base models) should be running atleast mid 15's....
...my stock '93 Coupe (4.9) ran a 15.9 @ 85mph.... truck unloaded, half tank of gas, 1/2 tune up, semi-clogged cat (we think)
the Concours/DTS should run a 15.0 while the STS/ETC should run a 14.4-14.7

i imagine a full tank of just 89, and an extra 200-250lbs of stereo in the trunk might of hurt my times :D :crying2:
